I need the :flail: emote from ars technica.

:XD:

I really hope that this is a return to form (especially with it being a short sharp special), series vii was underrated but series viii just plain sucked donkey testes.

I actually enjoyed the latest series. I'm not sure why everyone is so down on it, it stays true to the old humour and such, theres just more actors in it.
I look forward to this

I liked it better when Lister thought he was the last human being alive. It was what drove the whole story forward. I thought the humour took a tumble towards pure silliness which wasn't as character driven too.

In fairness, I watched series viii when it was first aired and never since - I suppose a second viewing could change my mind.

Me too. You can get the DVDs fairly cheap if you don't go for the extras.

Yeah, I picked up Just the Shows a few years back for comparative pittance.

Although on the flip side you miss some of the stuff like Can't Smeg Won't Smeg.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

And here I've been thinking I was the only fan anywhere. For such a popular show nobody seems to like it.

Britain is chocablock with fans of it!

I have seen only a little bit of Red Dwarf, but the little that I saw made me love it! :D

The Series 3 Extras includes a version of Backwards that plays in reverse.

Damnit I'm giddy about this now. At reddwarf.co.uk there are (get this) photos of doors with the Red Dwarf logo on it (that could be anywhere) and I'm like:
