The main quest was freaking garbage. Oblivion's main quest was nothing short of Epic... Seeing them slip like that really disappointed me. Also, I don't like how you finish the game if you finish the last main quest. That is stupid. But for the side quests, graphics and game play, I thought it was MUCH more interesting than oblivion.

They are changing the ending come march with their Brotherhood of Steel expansion, but ya I agree, the overall questline was a tad underwhelming. Its mostly the presentation though. It had a lot of potential to be epic, but the whole ordeal with the enclave cut kind of short and left the ending rushed.

Plus Fawkes was a ****ing douchebag with his, "We all must face out destiny." bull****.

I liked the main quest as well, though I spent more time on the side quests. I think the main quest could have been longer, but aside from it being short, I thought the story was quite good.

This. I loved the main quest up until this. Freaking ruined it for me.

I've gotten bored with the quests so I'm now mostly doing my standard "go around and kill literally everyone" thing.

Taking out civilians with the flamer = hilarious. Almost as good is close-range headshots with the combat shotgun.

Yeah Fawkes totally pissed me off when he said that.... and then he ****ing follows you in and watches you die. What a prick.

Yeah, I spent most of the game wondering around with Fawkes, discovering those crazy tree guys, the kingdom of Dave, and some alien crash site. I had some great times with Fawkes, I didn't have to kill anything because he's so uber, but I was genuinely worried when a Behemoth came close to killing him.
