Albanians have kidnapped your daughter, are you a bad enough dude to rescue her? Hell yes, Liam Neeson is a badass in this movie.

I'm surprised there isn't topic made about Taken yet. The movie is kind of like the Bourne movies except on a more personal basis. Ironically, Bryant Mills (Liam Neeson) is closer to the Bourne from the novels than Matt Damon was in the Bourne movies. Nevertheless, it was fun watching Liam beat up and kill people. Watching him slam people's heads into walls and cars somehow seem very satisfying. What makes him even cooler than Bond and Bourne is that he's ruthless and determined as hell in getting his daughter back I was surprised he shot the wife of that one French guy who worked for a security firm .

I'll have to see it now. Honestly nothing about the trailer grabbed me as must-see and the plot seems like its been done 100x. The last film I saw that got the kidnapping/revenge plot right was "Man on Fire".

I saw it a while back. It was pretty good.

Kind of odd how no-one paid any notice to the other girl that got snatched.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Yeah the plot is generic, but it's the execution that's entertaining.

Yeah, it was a lot of fun to watch with friends. Liam Neeson did a good job, and it really got you rooting for him, which was nice.

It was very brutal. I enjoyed that. One of those movies you sit there and wince and go 'that must have hurt.

Liam Neeson is an awesome actor. Unfortunately, not even an awesome actor can make up for the lame plot. Still, it was entertaining.

I'm actually glad to hear this. I really like Liam Neeson, and the movie looked interesting to me.

I've skipped over this movie because I thought it was going to be like Ransom. I must now rent this movie.

The movie to me was a lot like "Jason Bourne with a Family." That said, Neeson is a badass.

nesson is a complete and utter badass in this movie, utterly uncompromising, does whatever it takes to get the information he needs and doesn't mess around in taking people out, cold, but such awesomeness.
