Old N64 games?
2003-12-25, 7:43 AM #1
I was just wondering if anyone still played their old N64 games. I do every so often for example I just beat Star Fox 64 again. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif] So I decided to make a thread to talk about your top 3 favorite N64 games.

Heres mine...
1) Star Fox 64
2) Super Smash Brothers
3) WWE No Mercy

There were only 3 good N64 games...

1. 007: Goldeneye
2. Super Smash Brothers
3. Rogue Squadron

Runner Ups:
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Starfox 64
Rampage: World Tour

Yeah, I hated the N64, and loved it for the above games.

For those of you who are Zelda64 fanboys, bite me. Zelda was made in 2D, and should stay there.... forever.

Oh, and Perfect Dark? That was some dark poop.

2. Goldeneye
3. Rouge Squadron

Runners up:
Mario Kart (A blast, but single play was weak)
Star Fox (Single Player was awesome, Multiplayer was... OK)
OMG LIKE TUROK 2! That game totally ruled. Had Multiplayer (Which Turok 1 didn't), high-res graphics, etc. But still didn't match up to the others. I think it was too hard really.

I believe that is consider Warez because you need the ROMs of the games in order to play them.

3. Goldeneye

One thing I always liked with two players was to have one leave the room or whatever and the other would set up a long maze of proximity mines through a linear level [namely facility] and the other player would start at the opposite end and come towards them, carefully triggering all the bombs by tossing mines at them or sniping with the M16.
I love that game.

Some games are meant to be 2D. However, do you think that if the technology was available at the time of Zelda's making it would have been made in 2D? Yeah, right.

Then.... it wouldn't be Zelda, it'd be Zelda3D, thus it wouldn't be one of the best 2D games of all times, it'd be a game that would or would not be good...

my girlfriend has an N64. Shes always playing Mario Kart, and when I getthe chance I play golden eye.

Golden Eye is a classic, espically multiplayer. Fast gameplay good levels, I espically like grenades in the temple with 3 other people. If you do it right you can kill someone from 3 rooms over by using the windows in the main hall. AWESOMENESS
