How come no one told me this game was so bad ***?

I'm playing through SP before I go online so I won't be a total noob.
Stuck on the totally awesome sniper flashback level now.

Any other totally bad *** games I've been missing out on because I only own Halo?

I too have only recently discovered the awesomeness of COD4

I did the very same thing with Bioshock, bought it on the cheap one day and was amazed.

CoD4 is awesome, has a bit of replay value, you can take a few different routes in places and end up in entirely different feeling fights.

I've recently gotten completely hooked on Fallout 3. Huge game world, intricate but intuitive gameplay, decent storyline, incredible graphics.

Me and my faithful companion:

(He was later killed in Rivet City, so in retaliation I killed everyone there. You don't **** with a man's dog [yes my karma is extremely negative, why do you ask? :v:])

Also yeah CoD4 is great; I absolutely love the multiplayer. A few friends and I would play it nightly on hardcore mode back in the summer, and it was great fun.

yeah CoD4 is ****ing awesome, and the multiplayer is addicting.

other game to check is Bad Company. a bit different thant CoD4, but i found it to be a pretty sweet game, it took me a while to beat, of course this is cause i played on the hardest difficulty. the multiplayer is completely different than CoD4.

I also recommend GRAW 2.

CoD4 was wicked. CoD5 was also wicked.

I used the console to set Dogmeat to essential after a while. While it's kind of cheating it's a lot more fun than reloading after every fight with Super Mutants at lower levels.

Of course, once you reach about level 15 you can pretty much stand behind a corner and have a smoke while Dogmeat takes care of everything bar Deathclaws and Yao Guai.

Just finished COD4 SP campaign. I gained a lot of respect for the writers after the nuke goes off and you are KIA as Jackson , and the ending was also very well done. Nice mini-mission after the credits, too

SP was pretty good, MP gets old way too quickly. There's just too many places in maps where you can be completely gimped by skilled players, places where you have absolutely, 100% no chance of fighting back, regardless of your own skill level.

I mean, really, nothing is more stupid than getting killed right outside spawn by gernade launchers and thrown gernades from the opposite team's spawn at the start of a round.
