Turning over a new leaf!

Today I have started to do changes in my life, and I'm stopping the downhill motion in which things have been going. I'm tired of my situation.

I'm going to finish my highschool. I have been procrastinating all this time and put things off for far too long. I'm going to get a real job and hold it. I'm going to move out of my parents house and start fending for my self.

I want to change my life and surge of positive emotions have invaded me. Please help me keep this flame so I can advance in life and get things down the right way.

I am not asking for a hand out, just good advice, wisdom, and vibes.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Despite what people on this forum will tell you, go for it. Do your best and positive things will come.

That actually sounds like a classic case of clinical depression. You should seek counseling. Exercising helps a lot.

The above post is exactly what I meant.

I have been depressed for quite a while now, and I feel like I'm getting out of it, but I want to make changes to avoid it again. I need to leave my home and get a life of my own.

Get the first job you can that lets you make enough money to get out. Keep looking for better jobs WHILST YOU STAY IN THE ONE YOU'RE IN even if it's crap. Having a crap job gives you motivation to get a better one.

My thoughts exactly. If you want to get somewhere in life, I would suggest not sharing all your secrets with star wars forums and expect support on the internet.
DO NOT WANT.

You especially shouldn't expect support from an editing community.

Mine usually last less than a day. Although when it happens anymore I just laugh at myself.

I've been sort of out of touch with people in real life for over a week. I was sick with a throat infection that transfered itself to the gums of my teeth, so I was in lots of pain and fever. I had to drive to the hospital and get a shot for 4 days, and on the last day, my tire decided to blow and it got ripped to shreds while I was driving. I just went out and bought a used one. I was also unable to work at my burrito stand during this whole time.

To add more insult to my problems, the week before I got sick, I was playing soccer and I did something to my ankle. It wasn't hurting much until recently, and its all purplish yellowish.

So I've been under a lot of stress and I needed to blow some steam.

Good advice: don't announce to people you're going to change. Just do it. I'm being serious when I say this, too. Maybe tell a few close friends, people who want to and will help you change. But don't announce it to everyone. That's like inviting people to stop you. If you want people to notice a change, then change and don't react when someone says something bad. Goes for real life as well as Massassi.

If you tell people you're going to change, and they try and stop you, you'll react. This reaction takes you back to where you were, where you don't want to be.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Fact of the matter is, the only way you are going to change your life is if you do it personally and not make an outward fuss about it. Like changing and fine tuning your interworkings through an unspecific period of time. This may sound obvious, but more often than not people just make some meaningless "celebration" and fool themselves into thinking they are halfway through the battle or made some real progress. New Years resolutions, marking things on the calender, threads like these, etc. are majority of the time just bull**** because they are nothing more than sugar-coating on a problem.

Not to mention that no bad habit or vice just "stops." And people don't become better individuals because it's marked on the "to-do list."

tl;dr: SF_Gold_01 will most likely fail again.

The sad thing is that because SF_Gold is a pathological liar, we can never tell if he's being serious or telling the truth.

Hey man I hope you're serious. Do it for yourself though not for anyone else.
