It's definitely smaller, but I don't find it really looking comfortable to use.

He should also go ahead to gut the Wiimote's accelerometers off because they are practically useless anyway...

Looks uncomfortable.

ECHOMAN: without the accelerometer wouldn't most of the games (most importantly: wii sports) not work?

Well I wasn't sure exactly what the accelerometer did, but I did think it had to do with the motion detection.

Well, I'm waiting for Metroid Prime 1 and 2 ports for the Wii, seeing those games are actually the only real ones to benefit with the Wiimote. Not only that but I'm a Metroid fanatic and the attention to detail and atmosphere in the Prime series really clicked for me. Not sure why the Japanese get it first, MP wasn't even popular over there.

Then again, I'm excited over ports... which is kinda sad for me and the state of the Wii library in general.

Well, to be honest, my most played games are Wii Sports and Wii Fit.
Metroid Prime 3 is the first 3d metroid I liked, but thats mostly because I hated the controls of the gamecube ones.

Yeah, the MP controls take a while to get used to, not exactly FPS standard.

It is a bit awkward, though. I'd like to see a third party controller with the 1 and 2 buttons up near the A button. You have to admit they're in a weird place.

They're there because of games where you play with the wiimote on it's side like paper mario.
