Suggest to me decent HL1/HL2 mods

I recently moved my computer to where I actually live, and as such I am bored and in need of games to play. What are some good Half Life 1 and 2 mods I can play? I'm really looking for good single player mods if there are any. I've already played Metastasis and Point of view.
DO NOT WANT.

For HL1: They Hunger 1-3
For HL2: Rock 24 wasn't too bad.

Dystopia and Eternal Silence just game out on Steam and are looking good.

GoldenEye Source just released a new version. It's buggy but fun.

My list of mods either I played and found awesome or came highly recommended but I never got around to playing (mostly in the first category):

HL1:
Action Half-Life: Director's Cut
Azure Sheep
Bumper Cars
Case Closed
Half-Life Rally
Half-Life: Uplink (non-Steam HL demo converted to Steam)
Natural Selection*
Poke646*
Science and Industry*
Sven-Coop*
The Specialists*
They Hunger*

HL2 Available on Steam:
D.I.P.R.I.P.
Dystopia*
Eternal Silence
Insurgency
Zombie Panic Source*

HL2 Not available on Steam (download from their sites):
Combine Destiny
Eclipse*
Empires*
Fortress Forever
Goldeneye Source*
Half-Life 2: Wars
Insects Infestation
Minerva: Metastasis*
Mistake of Pythagoras
Perfect Stride Continuum
Pirates, Vikings, and Knights 2
Portal Prelude
Shantytown
SourceForts
Weekday Warrior
Zombie Master

Minerva was great.

Is Fortress Forever still filled with pricks? Last time I tried it out just to see how it played, it was filled with a bunch of elitist morons from TFC that feared and hated TF2 like a hermit who hates sunlight. Maybe the community has become better in newer versions.

Probably not.

Last time I played it was still infested with "pro" gamers.

On their farms it seems like they put together a game every sunday with whatever is left of their dying community.

How many of those are single player mods?

Well I downloaded decay. I never played it before, and it's pretty awesome, but the whole 'switch characters every second' thing is too irritating. Who wants to play some Decay with me? :D

If you own the HL1 expansions (Opposing Force and Blue Shift) that'll probably open some options as well.

Hmm, I guess now that 5 years have passed since HL2's release there might be some neat mods out there.

Hopefully Combine Destiny isn't a disappointment. And won't have too many barnacles. :|

They Hunger is sp. You could also look for USS Darkstar, which is by the same author (Neil Menke, IIRC). I've never played either but they were both featured on the PC Gamer disk back in the day.

Bah, I just tried to play Decay and it crashed on me after the first level. :(
