So I was playing though MotS single player today, and I noticed in the asteriod levels that the asteriods computer sounded very familliar. After sitting there listening to the countdown as I navigated to the exit, it dawned on me.. but was it really him?

Sure enough after some quick googling, Steven Blum in fact did some voicing for not only the computer (being the most obvious voice match) but the rebel commander and soldiers.

I know hes done alot of game voices in the past, such as almost all the voicing for quake 4, but I just thought MotS hit a little closer to home. Don't know why I never picked up on it before. I'm going to assume alot of you already knew that, but maybe some of you like me, did not.

After Googling the guy....

Seems he does about one or two voices in EVERYTHING nerdy. Congrats to him. Id say his coolest/best was Vincent Valentine on FFVII:AC

For a minute there I thought it was the guy who did the voice of Number 5 in Short Circuit, but a quick google revealed that I was wrong.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Er, for being a community who knows pretty much everything about anything useless.. I figured you guys would know hes Spike from the animated series Cowboy Bebop's voice actor, also the voice of Tom from toonami, and several other well noted voice acted castings.

I didn't know he did Tom, too.

That is a pretty interesting gem. I think Voice Actors are always the most interesting to see who they've worked with, and what they've done.

Also should be noted for all you Bebop fans, I just realized as I was playing through the spaceport, that the brassier female voice is voiced by the same girl who plays Faye Valentine.

I loved that one level in Psychonauts (the Milkman Conspiracy!) mostly because Blum voiced the G-men. Great stuff.
