TV show addiction
2009-02-14, 9:31 PM #1
Ok, so I got Netflix recently and my bro-in-law recommended a TV show for me to watch called Jericho. ( I know i could watch this for free elsewhere, but its just easier on Netflix since its on my Queue.) Anyway, I'm freaking hooked after watching 3 episodes. I'll watch more and I wish it was longer than two seasons, but what can ya do? Anyway, to make this a good long thread, what TV show are you addicted to, if not Jericho?
obviously you've never been able to harness the power of cleavage...

I don't watch TV hardly at all, but when I do it's generally House. I also used to love Psych, but that's gone way down hill the last season or so.
I had a blog. It sucked.

unless they had some unaired eps on the dvd, you'll be disappointed by how it "ends"
My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM

The only show I tune in to watch: South Park

Shows I watch everyday: Arrested Development and the Simpsons

I did the same thing with Jericho. Got it on Netflix and watched it in about a week. So sad that it was canceled.
Pissed Off?

My dad watched Jericho pretty regularly, but I never got into it.

Regarding TV addiction, I currently watch ten different shows in-season, totaling a minimum of 8.5 hours a week.

I don't watch all that much TV, but I'll never change the channel from Top Gear, Scrubs, Supernatural, or Mock the Week.
2009-02-15, 5:32 AM #13
Ah yes, Top Gear is outstanding.
woot!

South Park, House, Dexter.
Scrubs is good but I'm not exactly going out of my way to see it.
Heroes and Lost I watch with my friends now and then, but usually so we can have a good laugh at them.

The Shield was awesome. You have to watch it.

Nip/Tuck is a really enjoyable show to me, but it's not really what you would call a "great series." It's special, I think yo either love it or hate it.

SG-1 was awesome, but I'd probably take you at least a year to finish it (200+ episodes, 44 mins)

Battlestar Galactica is a great show. It really puts you on the edge of your seat.

And like JLee said, Terminator: TSCC is freaking awesome, but not popular for some reasons, FRIDAY AT 8, watch it! Glad to hear a couple people here at least watch it. (Ya'll should join the wiki)

I watched every episode of Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared in one sitting.

Excellent shows.

When I started watching Six Feet Under, I became crazy obsessed with watching episodes.

I wouldn't really say I'm obsessed with any shows at the moment. I watch Heroes, House, and Ugly Betty. Soon I'll start with America's Next Top Model. >_> Obsession may start then.

Oh I need to add 30 Rock and Big Bang too, but they're off air here at the moment. :(
nope.
2009-02-15, 12:31 PM #24
Big Bang Theory is so annoying, how can you stand it? The series is entirely a series of cheap one-liners, with the loudest and stupidest laughtrack over every ****ing line. Physics jokes are cool and all, were this TV show not a ****ing cliché of what a terrible sitcom is.

Dexter. You'll watch one episode, and stay up for 48 hours watching the entire show. Trust me.

If you like Jericho, you may also enjoy another series they have on Watch Instantly, it's called Jeremiah and it's done by the same dude who did Babylon 5 (but it's actually entertaining). You have to get through the first 2-3 episodes before it hooks you for real, though.
2009-02-16, 7:01 PM #34
Oh, also on Watch Instantly try Sleeper Cell (season 1 rocked, season 2, meh).
