My character is big on science and big guns/energy weapons. And sucks at pretty much else.

I played through on two characters; one good and one evil. Evil is fun because you get to do things like massacre all the residents of Rivet City and kill all the dirty hippies up at Oasis with a flamer. Good can be fun as well because you get Fawkes. I have him equipped with the Vengeance gatling laser

I have a problem with the DLC on the Xbox. I've paid for it, downloaded it, and Fallout 3 starts with 'Loading Additional Content..' but when I'm in the game I never get a new quest or a new radio signal or anything to start the Anchorage quest. Do I have to be in a certain place, at a certain time?

I can't possibly justify buying the new DLC. Is it really 1/5ths a game content?

DLC /= Mods...have no idea how the DLC got brought up. All my screenshots is vanilla Fallout 3. The only mods talked about was the dancing one by Umpa

I heard playing it on easy and doing just the main story line quest for the DLC takes 30 minutes tops. My question is...can I go back to Anchorage sim at any time? I'd be damned if I couldn't and wouldn't waste $10 on it. If I can go back at any time after beating it...then maybe I can purchase it.

But Fawks was supposed to be a female turned male in the original version of Fallout 3, and the character was literally lifted from that old game, so it seems pretty silly that they mistakenly include something in the design document used for the final game. It could be a mixup or mistake, but many understand it to be at least remnant of an earlier build.

Man I have a great idea for a mod. But I am just so damn lazy to start modding again. (I have modded Morrowind and Oblivion in the past...my only experience with it).

Anyways, take this project of the Colonial officer uniform, combine it with a mod that adds a raptor somewhere in the world, that when activated goes up to BSG. The BSG interior can be similar to Rivet City's, except more cleaner and has a CIC. Terminals can be used in the CIC. Put this uniform on all the people, including Abraham Washington who basically looks like Adama already.

Mod one of the robot models in Fallout 3 with Cylon centurion textures.

Bam.

I just started playing again. I deleted all my old save games and characters, and chose to start fresh and be ready in time for Broken Steel to be released. I had forgotten just how much I love to roam aimlessly around the capital wasteland, and just home much I adore dashing through the warzone that is D.C. Its just a blast. Though many suggested that raising Energy Weapons and Small Guns both to 100 was not a very good move, I like the diversity and so far I find that each have their uses. At closer range, the chinese assault rifle and combat shotgun are gods, while I love sniping with th Gauss Rifle, and for medium/long range V.A.T.S, laser rifle is pretty sweet.

I'm hoping to try out a contract killer / merc type character next and go down the less than good path. I just wasn't able to pull the trigger on Megaton this time around.
