So I was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Gamecube with some friends today. We played about 20 matches with 3 stock in each.

When we played our last game, this message showed up.

"You've played 4,995 VS. bouts! That's about a cent per bout!"

I realized that 4,995 x .01 = 49.95. That's exactly how much the game was when I purchased it in 2001.

What a bizarre message to get almost 8 years after buying the game. Nintendo always puts in a few surprises.


Anyways, discuss something you came back to after putting it down for a while, only to discover something new about it.
