The rules are simple... post a myth, with the next person posting something (like a video) to prove/disprove it... If you convince the person that posted the myth in your favor, you get to post a new myth. However, your time limit is two days. If you can't bust/prove the myth, a new myth will have to be posted!

We'll start out easy:

Will airplane on treadmill take off?

Have fun! :downs:
I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

We've already proved it won't in various threads back. Its not moving, so the air isn't creating lift.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Up until that post I thought you were just joking....

We had a very serious debate about the existence of the jackalope in my physics class last year, here are the results:
Quote:
Student 1: OK, I have a bullet question. Actually, it's not a bullet question at all. it's a question [student 2] and I have. Do jackalopes exist?
Teacher:... Yes.

Teacher: Jackalopes exist! End of discussion! back to physics!

Student 3: I believe I can quote Jackie Chan here, and he doesn't believe jackalopes exist.
Teacher: ... What?
Student 4: He's Asian! He knows!

Therefore, the jackalope exists. :colbert:
DO NOT WANT.

From here on out I am calling my toe nail clippings jackalopes, and they definitely exist.

There is a antelope jackrabbit, but its not huge and it doesn't have antlers. Just runs fast. Jackalopes do not exist.

Now lets see... a real myth hmm...

Bigfoot!
