What do you all think of Dollhouse?

I personally would have never bothered to watch it, except for the fact that it's next after my favorite show (TSCC)

I enjoy it. It reminds me of Dark Angel (I don't know why .. completely different) in a way, and I enjoyed that show a lot.

Weird as hell. Its alright, but its no Firefly or Dr Horrible. Maybe they'll introduce more comedy and make it worthwhile.

Just seen the first episode so far.
I see potential, but I don't have my hopes up too high.

It seems kind of.. stodgy right now. I don't get any emotions from any of the characters, and it doesn't have the same wit or cohesion as Firefly did. Since Echo is a blank slate, you have to have some really strong supporting characters to balance it out, and black guy / white army guy just don't do it for me.

I'm assuming there's going to be a story arc where the whole blank slate idea begins to break down and it starts going wrong.

I wasn't blown away by the first episode, but this week was a lot better. I like this show a lot.

A friend of mine showed me the promo for it after she found out I recently fell in love with Firefly. Looks interesting, but I'd have no idea where on British TV to find it, if it's even shown.

i havnt actually seen the show, but from what i have heard it sounds ALOT[/b] like a manga called DOLL in which a well off individual can purchas a robot that looks and feels exactly like a real person, they can be for anything from help around the house to tutors to sex slaves.

anyways... sounds very similar.

This week really helped make the characters more interesting.

Yeah I agree, this weeks episode was much better. A lot darker too I felt.
