A bunch of images I copied from a memory chip to CD aren't opening. These were someone else's, and I was supposed to put some of them on their website. Now I can't open the blasted things, and there's no backup. When I made the CD, I had it verify the data after burning the CD, and there were no errors at the time.

Anyway, it acts like the part of each file that tells the PC that it's a jpg is fubar'd.

Can anyone else open/view these images? If so, how? Otherwise, I am SOOOO screwed...

Nope, they're corrupt (or at least the first one is, I didn't bother to check the rest). Firefox, Windows and Photoshop CS4 all say it's corrupt.

CRAP!

All of the ones that won't open (there's about 150 of them) were in the same folder on the memory card. The other 100 were in a different folder on the same card - they all work just fine.
