Curious Case of Benjamin Button seems to be winning most of the awards so far. I haven't seen it yet (I will) so I can't comment on how good it is, but I'm glad Wall-E won best animated picture. I do hope that Robert Downey Jr. or Heath Ledger will win best supporter actor.

Oh and Wolverine's opening dance was great.

I thought Hugh Jackman was a good host, the musical numbers were a welcome change. A lot of people objected to the lack of clips, but I liked the Superman courtroom way of welcoming the new best actors.

Glad Slumdog won, but don't think it deserved all its award - especially best score. Should have gone to Milk.

Speaking of Milk, glad Penn won too, but Rourke was just as deserving. After all, Hollywood is nothing but a bunch of commie homo son-of-guns.

Oooh! I want to watch Hollywood auto-fellate!
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

It's sexist that male and female performances are in separate categories. :(
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

If this was a serious comment, my only opinion on this statement is: I guess its so that automatically a man and a woman win every year. So no sex looses! :D
Nothing to see here, move along.

And more and more people have realized this over the last ten years, that's why the ratings keep dropping.

This was actually the first time I watched the Academy Awards show the whole way through and I enjoy it. Personally, I like this award show because it's more dignified and formal compared to the "rock and roll/rap" presentation style of MTV and Spike TV.

Personally, I want to see The Wrestler, Slumdog Millionaire, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button once they hit Blu-ray.

Stiller's impersonation of Phoenix was awesome.

Thee best thing about this awards show was that it reminded me to see In Bruges.
