I bought a laptop. After getting through the multitude of garbage in the beginning (WTF Compaq, just boot to the damn desktop already).., I want to image the drive so I can install 7 and still go back easily. Just because I'm cautious, I'll also burn a set of recovery DVDs. It only lets me do that once, so I'll ISO them to my external HD too.

But...if I image the drive before I burn the DVDs, I could always restore from image and burn them again if need be, right? :ninja:
