But Midway is filing bankruptcy, so the Mortal combat franchise is for sale. I know it hasn't been the best in the past couple years, but this strikes me as sad. Twenty bucks, EA buys it up.
obviously you've never been able to harness the power of cleavage...

Shouldn't have made a game fighting DC comic book characters

Shaolin Monks was great fun in CO-OP!

DC vs MK was retarded. They tried to rip off the Marvel vs Capcom series

Someone should buy MK and do a Killer Instinct Vs. Mortal Kombat

That would be some hot **** there.

Agreed. Basic Instincs could use a good revival. I think SF4 might give a new breath of life to 2d fighters. Merging the Basic Instincs and MK universes and combat systems may not be a bad thing at all.

Rare hasn't been its best lately either. There's a lot of talk of a KI game in the works though.

I always wanted to see another good Rush game from Midway, but after Rush 2 on N64, they continued to fail.

If I recall, Rare is undergoing financial troubles as well. The price Microsoft paid to purchase the studio isn't living up to expectations.

I really can't say I will shed a tear for Midway. I can't honestly remember the last good game I played published by them.

Rush 2049 was actually one of my favorites and I had a lot of fun with it with some of my friends.
