For me to get college credit for my police academy training, I need to provide an UNOPENED OFFICIAL DOCUMENT saying that I went through the training.

....

I have a certificate signed by the Director of the academy. I am employed as a full-time police officer, and have the requisite badge and GOVERNMENT IDENTIFICATION.

Nope, not good enough. Now I have to make phone calls and see if I can even get them to send something.

That reminds me ...
I need to get one of those unopened official documents from a previous school to this one ...
Yea, they are silly about it.

Talking to person at my school "You need proof of your credit." "Like a transcript or something?" "Yes"
"Do you have a fax number?" "Yes .. xxx-xxx-xxxx"

30 minutes on the phone with the other school I finally get someone to fax a copy of my transcript.

So after waiting in the line at my school for 15 minutes, "Did you get my fax" "Oh sorry you need to have an letter sent from the school with a letterhead or something official on it directly to us"

:suicide:

And JLee, you should have been like "RESPECT MUH AUTHORITAH!" and made it all ok.

Yeah the sealed document thing is stupid. How hard is it for them to just call the place you're giving them a transcript or document from? I'm pretty sure they do that anyway.

I have one handy... just in case.

I don't have a transcript. I have an official certificate - IIRC, it's signed by the Governor of NH. That's not good enough! :neckbeard:
