How about a laptop made by a company that actually cares about its customers?

Well there's HP. But you will still be talking to Ahmed for support.

i haven't had any problems with my m1530. :) XPS support is handled by a different team. i know a lot of them are here in nashville, because i have a few friends that work there.

that said, you can also get a lenovo thinkpad W500 with a wuxga, but it's not cheap. :/

I've had an XPS laptop. I don't like Dell's consumer level hardware because it's all so poorly-designed. Literally the only Dell laptop I'm even slightly interested in is the Precision M4400 but they don't sell a 1920x1200 screen even though it's advertised. This is why I called their sales staff, and this is why I've decided I'm never ever going to buy from Dell again. They hate their customers and they hate having business.

Support? Why would I give a damn about XPS support if I can't even get information about their products and services in my own language?

I saw this thread and first I was like "oh yeah another dude using 'it's official' for no reason because his dell is broken and otherwise nobody would click his boring thread" and then I was like "wait hmm maybe something significant involving dell has happened and that is why he used that phrase, that might be interesting" and then I clicked the thread and it turned out I was right the first time
