Hey! So I'm super stressed, and whenever I get super stressed, I turn to my attention seeking behavior. So this is me, seeking your attention!
What's going on is that everything has landed on these two weeks. I'm a double major, so I had my recital a while ago. As a result, I didn't work on my thesis and I now have nothing done (actually as of tonight I have 3 pages, but you know)
So I e-mailed my professor thanking her for being so lenient on the time frame for me and letting her know that I plan on having 15-20 pages in by this weekend. She responds by telling me that she really wants to consider me for the Capstone festival and she needs something by Tuesday or Wednesday (of course, I choose Wednesday because, come on) so she can consider me.
Flattering though that is... AAAAHHH.
So I need 9 pages or so by Wednesday, and then she wants 10 more by this weekend. Well that could work... except for the fact that I'm the director of my a cappella group and our big Jam is this Friday, meaning not only will I get no work done on Friday, but I'm also one of three people doing anything for the event. Me and two others are doing EVERYTHING and you would not believe how much time that really takes up, even with trying to delegate tasks.
Also - I have a group project presentation on Friday that we haven't started.
So this week is hellish anyway, and I have to get another 15 pages of my thesis in by the end of next week. I'm the president of my choir. Next Thursday is our concert and that weekend is our tour, which I have to organize. While writing 15 pages on a section of my thesis that I've barely even begun to research.
Of course, all this on top of regular school work. But if I make it through these two weeks, it's smooth sailing until graduation. That's another issue of course - I NEED A JOB AFTER GRADUATION! The economic crisis has hit my family hard and I really need to find a decent job after I graduate, but I'm having a hard time finding one, surprise surprise.
And for those of you telling me to stop wasting time on the internet... yes I've been having a problem with that, but I just finished writing a bit and I'm out of ideas at the moment so I took the time to complain to you. Just need some vibes on getting through this week (and getting a job I suppose too)
What are your worries? The job market? Finding an apartment? Running out of booze? That threads like this will continue to take up space in massassi? MASSASSI THERAPY/*****ING SESSION.
(also - who's a very fast but thorough proof reader/editor?)

Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.
