I've got some damned trojan, sysguard or something. I've been trying to get rid of it manually but its not working. Anyone have a free spyware/adware remover they can recommend?

I've heard Ad-Aware is a turd these days. I might check out spybot. Thanks.

I had the same thing 2 weeks ago. Pain in the @$$ to remove. I used Malwarebytes for the first time and loved it.

ive used AVG antispyware for years.

When we used AVG at work, it didn't seem take notice of anything. I was certain my HD could get raped by an elephant and AVG would think my browser was saving a cookie.

well i used it for 2 and a half years and my computer was in tip top shape. it just needed more ram. but other than that it was fine.

rarely, if I get them I look for a manual solution to remove them. but sometimes they get in too deep
