probably 70% of the space inside is for the battery then about 20% for the jacks (USB and headphone)

lol actually they just released the new ipod shuffle. little bit larger than a thumb nail and retardedly does not have buttons... but yeah still super small.

Someone post that saturday night live sketch where during the interview he would continuously come up with smaller ipods and more space, it was funny.
