So I've installed GTA 4, FEAR 2, and NFS:UC and im stuck doing this freaking essay thats due tomorrow! At least I saved time by installing them while I worked on my essay :hist101:

After tomorrow, I'll be done all my midterms/assignments for all my courses until late april, when exam comes :smith:

But anyway, I gave an hour spin for all them games.

GTA 4: wth is up with the shadow? It so low res and powdery, very distracting.

FEAR 2: I have a 1800dpi mouse, and even on the lowest mouse sensitivity its way too fast still! Anyone else have this prob?

NFS:UC: I like the intermediate improvements they made to the engine. But the scuff marks are so low res its disgusting.

What recent games are you guys playing now?

I really don't understand why games have such terrible dynamic shadows.
STALKER, released in 07', has the best dynamic lighting i have ever seen. with crisp and detailed shadows from every single object with every single light source, and it even runs all maxed on an 8800GT. For GTA4 i had to turn shadows for everything but the sun off and those that remain look like crap and lag me to hell, what a terribly coded game.

Same with Valves recent attempt, the only dynamic shadow comes from the flashlight and it manages to slow the game down noticably.

I'm playing Starcraft because my friends recently got back into that. That's recent, right?

aka: I'm too poor to upgrade my computer and too cheap to buy new games
I had a blog. It sucked.
