My suggestion was something from Secret of NIMH, like Mrs. Brisby, but then they complained they were mice and not rats. Wah wah.

You might also consider Rita Malone (who is a rat, from Flushed Away).

As for non-movie names, I have none. Sorry. You could name them after NeS characters of course. ;P
