I did it! Time to eat thirty cakes and do it again!

So as many of you are aware, I used to be a fatty. Two years ago I was 285lbs (129.2kg), and as of today, I have officially reached my goal of 200lbs (90.7kg). I am now no longer considered Obese, and I am also no longer considered Overweight. I am officially NORMAL (but only just!). I plan on losing a bit more, and in the process tone myself out a bit, but for now I am just happy to have reached a goal that I thought impossible a while ago.

Let's celebrate with some cake! NOMNOMNOM!

2 Years Ago:
Weight: 285lbs
Waist: 45/44

Now:
Weight: 199.5lbs
Waist: 34/32

Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

For MB thirty cakes is considered a diet.

Congratulations man, I remember noticing the weight come off in the camhoez thread.

But what's your height? Congrats, and the haircut was definitely a step in the right direction.

Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

To be fair, you don't really look that fat in the first picture. But yeah, you definately look better in the last. Nice one.

My Wii fit tells me every day that I'm overweight. I'm just big boned :(

I had a friend who did almost the exact same thing, went from about 280 down to 180. I didn't know him while he was bigger, but I've seen pictures and he just simply doesn't look like the same person. Now he can fit into my clothes, that deceptively skinny son of a *****.

Well done, SAJN. You've got the motivation that almost no one has.
I had a blog. It sucked.

If you don't mind my asking, what have you been doing to achieve this?
2009-04-04, 4:18 PM #27
congratulations! thats really awesome. Ive lost about 20lbs since last June which I'm pretty happy about (lolmbfat). Mostly just by eating better and exercising a little every day.

Where did the MBlolfat thing start anyway? I always wondered if it just randomly spawned or if there is actually something behind it.
2009-04-04, 5:24 PM #29
Impressive!

And you look exactly like a friend I used to study with, save for the blue eyes.

Speaking of which, how the hell did you pull that off?

What, the blue eyes? By not being Mexican.

A number of things. Next weeks marks my first full year of being vegetarian. Also last summer I worked a 9-5 job for the State weed-wacking/shoveling/manual laboring, so I was outside every single day. Plus on weekends I play tennis, and aside from that I just eat healthier and stay active. It isn't as hard as people make it seem, it's just getting off your lazy butt and doing SOMETHING. If you sit inside all day you tend to get bored and eat, where as even if you aren't exercising, if your at least OUT, you are likely to eat a lot less and shed weight simply from that.

I have the problem where I can make activitie changes and diet changes, and I will see progress for the first two months or so. Then I hit a limit. The diet and excersise is no longer making me loose weight, its keeping me where I am at. It pisses me off.

I tried not too long ago to replace all my soda beverages with water and removing dinner from my diet. I lost some nice amount of weight during this time, then I stopped loosing weight entirely. Kept myself at the level I didn't want to be.

So thats what I find hard, finding the right combination that will get me where I want to be.

Does it ever feel weird to be in a completely different body? I lost 70lbs over the course of a year and a half and I forget that I'm not a heifer anymore all the time.
