Managine multiple email accounts

I have multiple gmail accounts for all my eBay usernames, and I need a way that makes checking each account quick and easy. To get an idea what I mean by quick and easy, logging into/out of gmail and typing in each name and password is much too slow. I'm hoping for a program that can put each inbox one or two clicks apart.

Anybody know of something good that can do this? Free is good....but if it's like 30 bucks and I can try it out first, I can deal with that too.

I've set 54 of my GMail accounts to redirect their mail to one hub email. Works for me.

What about responding to the messages? I'd want them to come from the account to which they were sent.

[Aha....."Send As"...this will work!]

Depending on your browser, some have a simple auto fill in. Opera being one, hitting control+enter fills in your saved names and passwords. Defenitely the fastest auto fill in I've ever used. Stores multiple names for one site as a list that pops up and you just hit the down arrow to select the one you want. After time you do it instinctively.

Or just do what fastgamerr said. That would be the most ideal.

You can set up gmail to forward email to a single inbox, and then you can set up gmail to reply back with whatever address the email came from.

Go to "settings" and l2r.

I just hate that the pop3 method on gmail only checks the accounts like every hour or so, unless you manually check them in settings.

Setting up labels on the multiple accounts helps too

I've got Thunderbird watching 2 gmail accounts and one of my school accounts, I've got a half dozen other addresses that forward into those. Used to watch my yahoo accounts via a third-party system, but Yahoo wants US users to pay for that and hd trouble keeping up with their efforts to block it. I don't use Yahoo any more :P

I'm more interested in what legitimate use Dash_rendar would have for multiple ebay accounts.

Fraud being a not legitimate use.

I can hardly imaging.

Multiple eBay store subscriptions....each one with products targeting an audience different enough from the other that having them together in the same store would make absolutely no sense.

Thunderbird is pissing me off. It's trying to download all 10,000 messages in my gmail account, ~20 at a time, even though all of them have been read. Can I make it only download unread messages??
2009-04-17, 5:17 AM #20
No, you can't, because Thunderbird has no idea which ones are unread.
2009-04-17, 5:35 AM #21
Yeah, there's a hidden flag that signifies read via POP/IMAP/whatever, and it's got nothing to do with Read via the web client :\
If you send email from the web client it will also download into your Thunderbird inbox.

um, when you enable pop on gmail you can tell it to "Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on". this function exists precisely to avoid the problem of downloading years of email in one go.
