You don't actually have had to experienced/tried/eaten the food(s) in question -- just knowing what they are is enough.

[And yes they are all from some part of Asia]

1. anglicized curry
2. fried pork cutlet with japanese curry
3. rice noodles with a sauce made of tamarind chili fish sauce and other things
4. vietnamese soup made from beef
5. shanghainese soup dumplings. pretty fascinating how they make them.

I've actually eaten the last one many times but just called them 'dumplings'. I didn't recognize the name so I didn't vote for it.

They are soooo good. There is this restaurant called Din Tai Fung that has the best ones I've ever had.
