I just bought Orange Box thanks to the heads up by Pommy in this thread.

Luckily for somebody, that means I just paid for Half-life 2 and HL2: Episode 1 all over again.

Anyway, if don't have 'em and you want 'em, I can give 'em via the Steam Gift thingy. What goes around comes around: that's how I got 'em.

I spent ages trying to get rid of my copy of Half-Life 2, until I gave it to someone on /v/, and even that took three attempts or so.

what does it say when you can't even give away a copy of HL2?

Genius marketing plan? Create a system where everyone who isn't interested enough to buy a game ends up getting it for free..and then wanting to play Ep2...so they buy Orange Box and perpetuate the cycle?

To be more precise, everyone that wants it has bought it. Which you'd expect to be true by 2009 even for a very popular 2004 game.

My copy of Ep1 is gone- I still have an extra copy of HL2.
