How do I change it?

Also, Winamp sucks ***.

(I'm not talking about the little search bar. I'm talking about the search engine that is used when you type something into the address bar)

Also, Molgrew thanks.

However, I changed it, and it still is using Winamp search. bah. Anyone know why?

and.. I don't really. But it pisses me off when there are settings on my computer that are not default that I did not specifically set. (I only installed Winamp once for a period of about 2 hours to convert some FLAK audio files to MP3, and it wasted no time in installing spyware and messing up my browser settings. Why does ANYONE even use it??)

Protip: It askes you specifically if you want that option turned on during installation. Next time don't just click next 50 times.

Modify the keyword.url entry to the search engine of your choice. Google should be http://www.google.co.in/search?btnG=Google+Search&q=

if you use the SEARCH BAR, maybe you wouldn't have this problem because if you want to run a SEARCH you can just use the SEARCH BAR instead of whining about the address bar.

If it didn't ask you then it didn't do it. Winamp's not spyware.

Which was unchecked. I swear. I'm sure you won't believe me, but I unchecked all of those options. (because I'm not a moron when it comes to spyware and the internet and computers)

I used to use winamp alot bit lately I've strayed away. Like itunes, its a resource hog. Back in the day it was the **** because it was the only player you could skin/easily make skins for. Now its just blech.

It would be nice to find a media player that doesn't take 5 minutes to load on a high end computer. (ie itunes and winamp) I hear alot of people like jet audio, i'm not too familliar with it myself.

I just ran the installer, unchecked it, and I don't have that problem.

I'm going to go with "Sarn can't admit when he's wrong" for 200, Alex.

Winamp took all of 3 seconds to load on my old AMD Athlon64 3000+ laptop with 50GB of music. Fail.

I've installed every winamp upgrade including betas since 5.0, and I've never had this problem (because I leave it unchecked).
