What are the odds they all say "Don't fall asleep or you'll lose a testicle"?

It's very easy. Once you grow up, start looking for grown up women. Girls need to (for the most part) whore around until they feel either validated or so used that they eventually settle down. There are FEW exceptions to this. I'm only 21 and I've already come to the realization that seeking a meaningful relationship from anyone under 23-24 is nothing but a joke. Even then its low odds.

To be fair, I know plenty of decent girls under that age who would never do that to some one. Plenty of girls under that age who don't go out looking for sex when their single or depressed.

But as stated before, no one should feel dissapointed over a one night stand. The whole night was a lie? I don't know how you can feel anyone you just barely met some days before and have sex without being anything more than friends who met recently can be tooken seriously. Its not that I don't believe it can happen that way, but you should have seen that she was depressed and looking to have a good time. You were nice to her and she liked you. I bet she doesn't like you that much anymore since you posted it on the internet. What is said on massassi, stays on massasi! :ninja:

If you want to find someone serious, just continue with your life, have more one night stands, hanging out, studyin etc. Eventually you'll meet someone good.

Could take a while though!
Nothing to see here, move along.

How do you figure? I'd say it's about accurate. All of the teenagers I know that got together before they were 23ish have stupid child-like relationships. A real adult relationship is hard to develop when you're still figuring out who you yourself are as a person, or where you're going in life, or how you're going to survive. You kind of have to know what you want before you start looking.

well personally i know a few couples who got together their freshman year of high school and are still together and are in their mid twenties now. 2 of the couples are married now. and how do you see my relationship? im 21 and married. i dated other guys before sarn and wasnt a slut about it. its bull**** to lump all girls into a group like that.

A lot of it just has do with the late teenager / college lifestyle, in my opinion. It's incredibly hard to disagree that college there is a strong emphasis your first year or two about "omg hookin up with guys" or losing your virginity if you haven't already, at least at the very large schools that have reputations for partying. I dated a girl in high school who when we'd talk about it, she would go "I'll never be like that, even if we aren't dating by then". Of course it didn't play out that way, and I lost a lot of respect for her. Since her first year she's definitely settled down and realized that it was really a stupid lifestyle, but it still happened.

Freshman/Sophomore girls in college also start to realize that if they are complete sluts they can pretty much get whatever they want cuz equally retarded guys will trip head over heels just to get some.

I don't think anyone here is saying it's a straight up fact that all girls are sluts or that all relationships under the age of 25 are bound to fail. I know plenty of ladies here at UW-Madison that are really awesome girls. But I know about 10x more that are absolute whores. Of course there are exceptions. But there is just a different lifestyle today that makes it relatively harder to find a meaningful relationship while you are in college. And frankly, just pick you hang out with more carefully. It's quite easy to just say this girl is ****ing around, and it's even easier to just not hang out with her. There are plenty of girls out there. Some are gonna be *****es. Some won't. It's up to you who you associate with

Not that I'm criticizing, but you can't exactly say moving across the country to marry your internet boyfriend before he runs off to the military is "mature." You'll probably do just fine, but not every young person who makes knee-jerk decisions about the rest of their life make the right one. Most of the time, it's wisest to wait until you're good and settled down before making plans, and to that degree I think most everyone else's experience would say that college students are terrible decision makers in relationships.

Because not meeting your husband until you're married is better?

Look I'm not even trying to criticize you, I'm just saying that your case isn't exactly proof that college kids are great at mature relationships. Not saying that you guys aren't mature in your relationship, I'm talking about the business side of things, saying that it's not traditionally the safest move.

Yeah, you specifically asked what I thought about it... and I don't have a problem with it. I just think it's a bad thing to cite in an argument about young people having adult relationships.

First, when I was a kid (the 80s), they were round. Then in the early nineties they changed to those stupid fruit shapes and added new colors. Now they're round again, apparently.
