So all of you at some point in your life have probably played the game telephone. It's the game where someone whispers something to someone else and the message gets passed on until it reaches the end and is usually a completely different message by then.

Well, I found this website: http://www.brokenpicturetelephone.com/ and it's basically the same principle, except it's with pictures. The way the game works is the first person types a short message, and the next person will draw a picture. The third person will type what they think the message that picture is trying to convey, and then the fourth person will draw what the third person wrote. It's really fun and a lot of them turn out hilarious. You can do private games with your friends, or just join random public ones.

They don't let you see the history of the game you're about to do, nor let you see how anyone responds to your part in the game until after the game itself completes.

You can choose in your user profile whether you'd only like to draw the pictures or write the descriptions, or both.

I've played this game at an actual party before -- fun stuff! Though I have to wonder if people on the Internet would even bother to try (though the one linked seemed pretty good).

People who deliberately derail the game are rated poorly and eventually banned for doing so. They do a pretty good job of monitoring the games from what I've seen.

It just depends, since people join into random open games, some finish faster than others. I'm also not exactly sure how it determines how many rounds go per game, because I've had some go up to 40 different rounds (20 pictures, 20 text) and others go only half as long. Sometimes I've had some finish in the same day, and other times it takes a few days.

But yeah, it's a great way to kill time, and browsing through ones that you've participated in is quite fun

THe # of rounds are set by the person who creates the topic there are 3 settings (# of rounds, mature content, ... and something else)

I was amazed that in that one, the panda theme lasted the entire game.
