Most reviews say it's kind of, em, shallow. :) What do you think?

By the way, did you know that the game's story was written by the video game script writer Rhianna Pratchett, who is incidentally Terry Pratchett's daughter?

EDIT: Crap, forgot to add the poll. If admins here could do that for me (a generic yes/no/i'm jepman would suffice IMO), that'd be great! Cheers!

I loved it. Replay value is low, but I find myself replaying every now and then.. I enjoy the gameplay.

Plus it introduced me to Lisa Miskovsky.

If you love time trials, get it. Most of the replay value is there.

I my self played through the campaign around 6 times, and still enjoy buzzing through some levels now and then.

I also enjoy the time trials. Nearly beat some records too ^.^

I've only read about it, and the general consensus was it was a great idea, mostly well executed but rather short with little replay value: wait for it to be half of full RRP.

It's very pretty, and the gameplay is fun for a while.
It's also very immersive as long as you turn off the crappy "runner vision" in the options, which is a completely un-necessary thing to have on anyway.

But having said that, it's short lived. I got bored of it before I even finished the game, though admittedly I start it up now and then for giggles.
So I'd say get it if it's cheap, but it's not really worth full price unless you're feeling particularly rich.

Yeah, if it's the usual 60$, don't do it.

If you can get it for 30 or under, I say go for it.

its 20$ on steam right now.

i enjoyed it, but they totally could have executed it better.

It's a cool game, but really short.

Speaking of which dud, were you featured in the Rochester Insider magazine a couple of months ago? There was a whole article about RIT students and Parkour.

It was two weeks ago, yeah. They copy/pasted the article into the D&C too.

Can't you d/l the demo? I thought it was mildly interesting at best.

I don't know about the game, but the soundtrack is excellent.
? :)

I got it and I must say that so far it's a fantastic game! A great refreshment from (mostly uniform) modern first person games. And the first time I kicked a blue's shotgun out of his hands to catch it and shoot his colleague (without using Real time), I literally went WOAH.

Don't know how far I've got to the end, but based on what I've seen, I'd easily recommend this game.

Was a *little* bit dissapointed with the corny dialogue. But perhaps I put my expectations a bit too high, with the script writer being my favourite author's daughter and all.

The story is easily the worst part of the game. It's *so* stupid.

Wait there is a story? I thought I was just jumping off buildings and swinging on bars.

Yeah the story is that bit in bad quality anime style that's oh so skippable.

I actually liked the cutscene style, reminded me very much of Flashback. It's only the dialogue script that I've got a problem with.

I absolutely loved the game, not so much the story, but the gameplay absolutely redeemed it for me. I had no regrets buying it, and the sale prices it nets now are worth it.

Its probably the best game I've played on the 360 since I bought it.
nope.
