I preloaded it and can't figure out how to start the game. Unless it doesn't start till later on thursday, but that usually isn't the case for this kind of thing.
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

Sucks that I've got a pair of exams on Saturday. I daresay the servers I normally play on'll be packed, though, so I doubt I'd get much play in anyway.

I am shamed to admit I have never played this game. But I am preloading it now, and will play it at certain times over this upcoming weekend. I may have never been in on the whole "Team Fortress 2: Brotherhood of Arms" but at least I wasn't one of those jackasses that pretended like I was. Thank you and good night.

It'll stop saying "Preload Complete" and say 100% - Ready when it's ready to play. There's nothing you can do to change it except to ensure you've still got internet :p

Valve usually opens up stuff around 6-8pm central time. When new releases are made, typically the pre-load doesnt open til around then. So the update/free weekend will probably all be made available this evening.
