He's actually not making a bashing Doom 3 thread believe it or not. I believe he's just showing off that he gets around a 5 fps average in Fraps, and he likes to kill innocent bystandards. In terms of actually playing the game, I don't think he's even been to the Mars Underground yet.

lol. Not only does it look like **** on SAJN's computer, but he gets the worst framerate I've ever seen in Doom 3.

In-game it's an average of 30-40fps. Turning on recording with Fraps kills it though.

Heh fraps will do that. It makes my CS run at an absolutely unplayable 24 fps, down from 99

OK uh... it looks like crap probably because of the compression of the video. We play (or I play) on highest detail and it runs fine. I wouldn't use a Fraps video as a reasonable benchmark for a game. Once again, he's not bashing Doom 3, just showing of a little comical footage. I don't usually defend my brother cause he tends to be an idiot, but I think you guys are getting a little rough.

yeah considering fraps recording a video cuts framerate ALOT go from 40s to 15 quite easily

you notice the framerate in my videos is also a bit on the low side especially the zombie video
