I take it that part wasn't CGI but an actual truck flipping? :P I've only seen the movie, but none of the documentaries.

It was a practical effect. They actually flipped a semi.

Haha thats great. A lot of the CG and VFX in dark knight went unnoticed. Especially the scenes where sets were continued digitally.

I think Dark Knight is a considerably good example in favor of my argument. They used real reference points and practical objects to incorporate CGI into the scene instead of empty spaces that are magically filled by computers.

But seriously, Jurassic Park and The Lost World are maybe my favorite movies for creature effects.

The baby Trex and Stegosaurus in Lost World were awful. Other than that, I agree with Vinny.

I love that JP's CG still looks better than most movies today.
