This is a super duper long shot, but I might as well ask it.

I was recently offered an internship at Warner Bros. Records in Burbank for the summer, and I'm kind of frantically looking for a place to stay. I don't expect it to be for free, but anything in the Burbank / Studio City area is ideal.

Do any of you know any good sites (aside from Craigslist) for looking up apartments, studios, housing? Or even better do any of you live in that area and want to make a few extra hundred bucks a month for letting me crash on a couch >.>

Once again, I know this is a long shot / weird question, but thanks anyhow.

What are you going to be doing there.. sounds fun.

I'll be working for Serj Tankian, mostly focusing on promotion and advertising. So I am assuming it will be mostly video and graphic design type things as well as updating the Serjical Strike Records myspace and stuff like that.

Wow. I am utterly shocked. Guess dreams do come true. Congrats man. Make it work. I'm in san diego, which is a bit too long of a morning commute I think, but I'd let you stay with us... if you don't mind the World of Warcraft at all hours of the day and night. :o

Haha, I appreciate the offer, but I'll be relying on a friend to pick me up for work in the mornings, so San Diego is a bit of a haul.

BUT-

I'll be working at Comic Con for John Dolmayan in July, so you should stop by and say "LOL, HI". I may even be able to hook you up with an Exhibitor's Pass if you're too much of a wanker to buy a day pass :p

If by getting you mean 'giving' and if by coffee you mean 'blowjobs' then yes.

I've actually been looking in Little Armenia for an apartment, but I'm not a jeweler so I don't know if they'd let me room.

Yeah 'fraid I can't help either. I'm in SD as well. I think there are some OC, IE people in here as well. They might better help.

Yeah, I've spent 2 weeks in SD when I was about 20. I had frozen yoghurt at Coronado Bay, visited the commissary for gas (my ex's uncle works on the base), saw the Imperial Beach sandcastle competition and allsorts.

It was aces!

Ah yes. I have height fright too. Going over the bridge was...nervous. The view is awesome though. Although a REALLY nice view of downtown SD is the Point Loma lighthouse.

UPDATE: I got a place in Studio City for $650 a month- all utilities included. It's literally 2 miles away from my friend Mike (who works at Serjical Strike) so it will be easy to carpool back and forth to work.

I'm just now grabbing my plane tickets and I'll be off and away within the next week.

Woo! :awesomelon:
