Sure it is. Just because he slips into a Scottish accent when he's with his family doesn't mean his American accent isn't natural.

Whenever they show some big event going on in our time, they usually cut to a couple of news shows reporting it - one being a zombie looking American reporter from "ANN" - I'm assuming a takeoff on CNN
