Milo seems to be perfect for pedophiles. Thank you Molyneux for creating life.

Didn't we already had something like this for consoles called "Eye Toy"? Meh, I miss when E3 was just about games instead of presenting new gimmicks such as this. But it will open up new grounds for interactive gaming they say! I have to see but I don't have much hope now. I'm tired of annoying peripherals that claim to enhance whatever experience.

Somehow I get this nagging feeling that Microsoft is unsure what it wants the 360 to be. I guess a "complete entertainment package" or whatever. On one hand, it wants to be a console for the hardcore and then a device for teenage girls to pick out dresses. It seems eager to difference itself from the PlayStation 3 but wants to capture some of the Wii's "magic."

Surely that's a software thing. The 360 is a computer in a shiny box - if the same shiny box can have blood, gore, swearing and boobs for 19 year old Timmy, and be a My Little Pony simulator for 6 year old Tammy then why the hell not? That's good business practice.

Finally! I've been waiting for a controller that could cause more damage then the wiimote! If we could knock dogs unconscious and destroy flat panels with the wiimote, just THINK what we could accomplish with this thing.
Lyrics are highly overrated.

Trying to appeal to everyone may seem like a great idea but it doesn't typically work when you market a product. Well, that's my take on it. Trying to support all types of users (from FPS junkies to soccer moms) can easily weaken whatever strong consumer base you once had. If Microsoft is going all-out to support Natal, including future releases and marketing campaigns, to attract people who like to flail their limbs around in front of the television, it is not hard to see the risk of alienating the "hardcore crowd" or the Xbox diehards down the road with increased focus drawn toward these peripherals and similar stuff.

the "hardcore crowd" is covered by the developers making the games... all ms can do to alienate these people is change the system's interface and add cutesy crap... oh wait

I knew that guy from Epic was right when he said developing for Wii tech was a step backwards, but I never knew he meant it was a step backwards for our very humanity :o!

Nah, they'll just copy it at the next opportunity, combine it with Mario and Sonic at the London Olympics and make a mint.

Apparently IGN had a hands-on demo of it with Burnout and they said that it worked actually very very very well

"Most of the people around me during the MS press conference were groaning when they showed how a racing game would control with Natal in the aforementioned marketing footage, but truth be told, it's a lot more fun than it looks. Though I did miss the bit of resistance that a controller or steering wheel normally gives me, I was shocked to see how natural it felt to drive a car without actually being in one. How easy was it? To accelerate, I simply moved my right leg forward; to brake, I moved it backwards, and to pop it into a neutral position, I just stood straight up (or as straight as my spine would allow me to stand after 12+ hours of E3 spelunking). Driving was just a matter of pretending that I had a steering wheel in my hands, and every subtle movement I made was picked up by the camera allowing me to drive pretty well (and pretty straight) for the few minutes I got to try it out. As an added bonus, the motion for going into Burnout mode was an appropriate Top Gun Volleyball fist-pump. The whole experience was surprisingly fun and I walked away with nary a bad thing to say (which is quite an accomplishment, because normally I complain a lot). "

Walk away.
I mean, that's how I'd have it done... if you're not seen by the camera anymore, auto pause the game

First the machine would laugh and then it would say "Perhaps I can recommend some male enhancement creme" and then a website would open up.
