Map

For those unaware of this game, the objective is to reach Mornington Crescent, the rules can be found in any copy of Lord Harry Ramsbottom's 'Mornington Crescent Unraveled' (1899).

We'll be playing the standard Tidbury rules, I'm sure you are all aware of them, the gates are circular and turning, and for the time being there is no side-slipping.

I'll start: Lancaster Gate

Man, that map's outdated, by the way.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Normally I'd bet out because I'd have to start at Clapham North on a Saturday, but I'm playing the First Saturday In June gambit so I can start at Waterloo.

It's like the British version of chess.

PS my turn is after a person with a real British accent so I get a free pass to Westferry.

I try to take the Northern line to Mornington Crescent but signal failures cause all trains between Kennington and Euston via Charring Cross to be canceled, I take the Jubilee line to London Bridge.

Jubilee? Hopelessly amateur move. :downs:

I'll take it to blackfriars, which leaves me almost in scoring position.

Hold on! I thought standard Tidbury rules also rule out transverse cross-overs. You can only make that move by using the controversial bilateral cross-slip gate.
