What's your favourite way of cooking meat? Ofcourse its going to differ due to whatever your favourite meat is, so to make it fairly accurate this poll shall be to do with Cow-based products!

:neckbeard:
nope.

Tossup between grilling and braising.

Keep in mind that "barbecue" has become a rather bastardized term. Cooking on a grills is not barbecuing. Proper barbecuing is a very slow process, usually on the order of hours.

It depends on the meat and occasion.

The best **** ever is a pig roast....no matter how you do it.

I fry or bake some meat pretty much every day just because of the ease.
I love BQs but I'm not so much a fan of the finished products of meat. I'm not a fan of the burned grill marks. I'd rather eat meat ... not charred meat.

Like putting some corned beef and **** in the crocpot it awesome. I'd never throw chicken in there though.

There is no such thing as a preferred method. All methods are bad ***.

I put grilling - as in, putting slabs of meat over burning coals. Anything else is just pretending.

Grilling (on the BBQ with real coals) followed closely by barbecuing.

I like grilled meat. I have 0 culinary skills so I cannot grill said meat. That's where my dad comes in!

raw is uncooked, therefore not on the poll of cooking methods...but that could probably go under other.

I put grilling, because that's the one that does steak the best.

I suppose I should have clarified that what you yanks call Broiling is what everyone else calls grilling. :P

Which is why its a difficult decision. Also I see you still voted. :P

Wow the first letters of the first three options spell FGR.

Grilling, but in every case just add 2 oz of salt on top of it and it's the greatest.

Yes. Sorta. Occasionally I'll use steak tips in soup/stew, but I usually sear them first in a frying pan before tossing them in the soup to finish cooking.

I've found that just adding salt and searing the outside in a very very hot pan and leaving the inside entirely uncooked is the tastiest way to go. Mmm... Raw...

That's rare, is it not? You're still searing the outside, but leaving the inside essentially uncooked.

More similar to extra-rare -- only the very outermost layer is heated at all; and within seconds of being removed from a heat source it is cold again.

Not true.

Forget your blue steak, if you want something disgusting look up steak tartare. It's wrong. Wrong!

It's even worse when its made with horse. :D
nope.

Steak Tartar I draw a line against. Blue steak might be raw; but the meat is still 'sealed', and the bacteria on the surface is seared away. But tartar is basically raw ground beef. It doesn't even taste the same.
