Yep, last night someone found how to access developer mode.

Go into universal search, and type: upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart

Yes, the way to access developer mode is the Konami code. I am not BSing you all. Once in developer mode, you get telnet access to the root of the system, where you can see the source of all the applications, as well as most other system services.

Won't be long now until we have serious iPhone jailbreaking-style hacks coming out.

Oh that's good.

:hist101: "You know how they're going to hack it anyway?"
 "Yeah?"
:hist101: "Wanna make it fun?"

If iPhone hacks begin, I hope the first one is one that allows flash to work.

Why do people want flash on the iPhone, or any phone for that matter? Do you want to see your battery life go to ****? If anything web designers should shy away from using flash in their web designs. Video is understandable desire to have flash on your phone, but most content hosting sites are moving away from solely doing flash and are offering mobile-compatible formats.

It wouldn't eat it up any faster than, say, watching a video. I would rather have the ability to view said flash sites without issue, thanks.

So we have a choice? And what if the phone is docked? Battery life is not an issue there.

Yeah, too bad that's not what designers actually do.
