I am in California for the next three months. The place I am living in is owned by a man named Steve. Steve is a lonely man. He's an older man with a lot to say, and all he wants is someone to listen. I listen to Steve. I like Steve. I thought I'd share some of my favorite Steve-isms with the world.

How do u know he did a lot of drugs eh?
Some older people are awesome, wise and all that, other old people are crap, bitter, and have their head in the sand

Oh great. I thought this state couldn't suck even more. Now you drag your sorry *** here.

:D
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

California can always suck more. I think it's in their state constitution.

Why does Steve talk like he wrote everything down beforehand?

Or are you paraphrasing. That would make more sense.

This has reminded me of part of the website for a music shop in glasgow.

It has random quotes from the manager of the shop, also named Steve.
nope.

Steve talks like a man who thinks what he says is deep or profound in some way, but is actually vapid and possibly stoned.

The mans mind is not totally there. He doesn't mean to try and sound that way- this is just how he assembles his thoughts. To him, he's just struggling to speak and have a normal conversation. Little does he know I'm writing down what he says in my notepad all day long.

Go write down the ramblings of someone more intelligent, like Goldie.

Brilliant blog idea. Must agree with JM, though. Do this with someone who has more interesting things to say, and I'm hooked.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

JM. You're hilarious.

My name is Steve. My street name is Goldie.

Go figure.
