They are called Tarantula Hawks. They hunt Tarantulas for nesting purposes for their young

That's actually not as scary-looking as I figured it would be. Granted, I would still not really want to be up and close to one, but I might actually consider it relatively pretty.

I got stung by a wasp last week, for the first day it didn't really do much but I woke up the next morning and found that my wrist was all swollen and itchy; it sucked.
