And better yet, a couple of days ago I asked my dad if I could get it sometime in the future and he gave me the lame "oh well you know...er...once you get better you can start upgrading your stuff a little bit" which is a nice way of saying "no, unless two years from now you buy it for yourself". So a while later I was playing in my room with the volume and the gain cranked up a bit. I practiced every song I know, started to learn some of Cold by At the Gates, and finished with unforgiven 2 by metallica. I got into the mind=guitar thing with the unforgiven 2. It was good. When I was done and was trying to find food, my dad says "wow, you got good all the sudden. you really took that up fast. you sounded good in there. blah blah blah Jimmy Hendrix just turned in his grave yadda yadda yadda, blah blah blah I'M SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING GETTING YOU THAT GUITAR YOU WANTED SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE..." holy crap. I'm happy now. hehe
