Well I liked this movie, but the only thing that bothered me was this:

I don't understand. Why does this face appear so quickly and then disappear? Is this the Devil, Lucifer, himself? Or is this some sort of subliminal message, cause the briefness was sure as hell subliminal.

I'm confused, so The Exorcist experts on massassi, help me with this.
and my computer is making funky white noises too
explain please

i dont remember that face. Was it seperate to the little girl?
The film scared the **** out of me though.

There were different endings. I saw the one where he absorbed the demon and jumped out the window.

elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}

That face flashes at seemingly random moments throughout the movie, it's on screen for like the blink of an eye at a time. I didn't remember it either until I last saw the movie like a year ago.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

One of the few true scary movies I've ever seen.

But yeah, I don't remember that face.

You know, it's possible they added the face to the anniversary theatrical (and subsequent DVD) release now that I think about it. They did add a bunch of other stuff, like the spiderwalk scene.

After hearing all of the hype, possibly the least scary "horror" film I have ever watched. I realise at the time it was probably terrifying, but come on.

I watched it (through my fingers) when I was about 15.

It scared the Shiite out of me.

Wikipedia says they were quasi-subliminal. They're meant to give the film a dream like feel.

Creepy.

I'll have to watch the movie sometime.
