As I am taking a one month trip overseas (It starts in 16 days :D ), I was just wondering what sort of overseas trips people here have taken (or are going to take in the near future).

I will be going to china (i will be there for the total solar eclipse :D, I will be taking both video and still images, and will try to get the video file onto my youtube), cambodia and japan.

I am also planning to see if I can do a mount fuji climb (as I will be in japan during climbing season), and it should not be that much colder than I would experiance here in canberra at the same time of year.

Leaving tomorrow for Bahrain. But then everyone should know that already.

Oh man, that sounds like an awesome trip!!

I've taken 4 major trips overseas - 3 of them were study abroad deals. France, the UK, Austria and Cyprus.
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

I have yet to travel overseas but my wife & I are going to Paris, France in November for 2 weeks to visit her family. We'll be spending most of our time in Paris but we're going to start going twice each year (Paris in the Winter & Southern France in the Summer).

I've never been anywhere except Arizona and California.

But I'm going to North Carolina in a month!

Not like that's very far...

I've only ever traveled to the United States.

From Canada.

And I'm only 15 minutes from the border. I think I may need to get out more.

I haven't left New Zealand in the last 20 years. I'm hoping to change that in the not too distant future.
Hoping to spend a month going round the world. I want to visit Switzerland, Austria especially. Maybe Poland, Germany.
