Good, can she do something beneficial for America now, like pose for playboy perhaps?

Some have speculated that Mrs Palin, who is popular with the Republican Party base, might be preparing to make a bid for the White House in 2012.

If the republicans do intend on backing palin in 2012, I can only fathom that their strategy sessions have gone something like this:

"Ok guys... we loved Bush, right? Alright, now all we have to do is convince the American people that bush was a good president. Once we've got them convinced of that, we unload Palin on them.... Cause let's face it, if they liked Bush, they're going to ****ing LOVE her!"

God damn, we laughed at her when she was running for VP. Running all the way would be comedy GOLD.

If she runs, the only thing Obama will have to do is start killing kittens (by masturbating) to lose to her.

Speaking of Obama, my die-hard democrat mom told me about this. She was embarrassed. I was amused.

Jeff Goldblum got upset about it.

Yeah, but Jeff Goldblum's dead.

Also, I'd really appreciate it if Palin didn't run for president. It would be nice to have a functioning opposition party again.

I'm sorry but John McCain is no good at the post. I see them trying to get a triangle offense going but might not amount to much. Bill Kristol is terrible from beyond the arc. Every time he tries to shoots he misses wildly. He's just not that accurate. This is gonna be a dismal season for the Republican Mastodons. They have little D and when they try to go on offense, it ends up being a haphazard attempt. However, I can see the Democrats getting complacent mid season. They've won many games of late but their offense has relaxed somewhat and they've done some questionable play calling. If they continue this way, they might lose their bid for the post season. Chuck, what do you say?

Poll: Palin's support still strong among GOP

Quote:
Sarah Palin's bombshell that she is resigning as Alaska governor actually has boosted her a bit among Republicans, a nationwide USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, though it also has dented her standing among Democrats and independents.

Two-thirds of Republicans want Palin, the party's vice presidential nominee in 2008, to be "a major national political figure" in the future. Three-fourths of Democrats hope she won't be. Independents by 55%-34% would prefer she leave the national stage.

We've not seen the last of her. Maybe she's just going to ride the gravy train and get her own TV show on Fox News. That way she can say all the crazy nonsense that she wants to, and instead of getting made fun of--she'll get paid millions of dollars.

What the hell kind of logic do these people follow? She left politics so they want her in power even more?

Well, a fair portion of the people who are gung-ho for Palin believe the best government is no government at all.

This. My bet's on Jindal to be the next presidential candidate. Palin could never win and would be a detriment to the republican party if she was a presidential candidate.

I'd still bang her though.
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

An Obama/Keyes rematch would be fun in 2012. Last time they went head-to-head in an election, Obama won by over 40%.

Keyes could spend the whole campaign explaining how President Obama isn't actually the President, since Keyes believes the conspiracy theory that Obama was born in Kenya and thus is constitutionally ineligible for the office. :awesome:
