Spammers have bad grammar

I just recieved a spam email. One of those money scam things. The grammar and puctuation are terrible.

<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">
DEAR FRIEND ,

I am Dr Mike, the director in charge of auditing and accounting section
of continental trust bank cotonou republic of benin in west Africa
with due respect and regard.I have decided to contact you on a
business transaction that will be very beneficial to both of us at the
end of the transaction .

During our investigation and auditing in this bank,my department came
across a very huge sum of money belonging to a deceased person who
died
However,i wasmoved to contact you base on the present situation
of this oppurtunity which i may say that it is God given time offer,
their is a foreigner who lived here in Cotonou Beini called (Mohamed
Mohd Salaheldin) by name, unfortunately the man died in plane crash
which happened on 31th October, 1999.Confirmable from the below
websit.(www.cnn.com/us/9911/02/egyptair990.list/index.html)

And since his untimely death the funds has been dormant in his account
with this Bank without any claim of the fund in our custody either
from his family or relation before our discovery to this
development.

The thing goes on like this for seven more paragraphs. The grammar and puctuation were amusing because this email is going out to millions of people, supposedly from a bank. You'd think these spammers would at least try to make it look official.

I'm not trying to be a grammar nazi but just skimming through the email I noticed how awful the use of language was.

Post any amusing spam emails you've recieved.

I can't believe that people still fall for variations of those Nigerian scams.

Maybe if you gave them your money, they'd be able to afford a proper English education?

I'm guessing it was probably done on purpose to get around spam filters.

Also, apparently scamming is something like Nigeria's 5th biggest industry.
