I spent the better part of a week just chewing through my old Animorps books on a whim.

They get really ****ed up. It's ridiculous. It's not even funny.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Jepman-related options are always of the most serious of choices one can select! :colbert:

Also, I actually find it easier to read when I have to read, as I usually don't mind reading just about anything. However, on my own, I usually read the occasional recommended book, etc.

I adore reading and wish I could conjure more time to do so amongst my legion of hobbies. I usually try to squeeze in 30 min to 1 hour every night before bed.

Me likey reading. Just finished "Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey a couple of days ago, and started a new book.

I pretty much have a queue of books that I want to read.

80% of my reading these days comes from a computer screen.

I'm currently reading the Harry Potter books.

I'd never read them before; finally I just got sick of people telling me that I should.

I read a lot, I generally buy and read 3-4 books a month (mostly science fiction and fantasy novels, but also tech books, and other non-fiction). Not a big fan of the newspaper, however, I read news online for the most part.

I've spent money on a lot of books that I want to read but can't bring myself to - so I chose "only when I have to." Even then its a stretch, because of the 50 books I had to read in high school I maybe read 2-3. Spark Notes ftw.

I read a hell of a lot when I was younger, then about two/three years ago I went through a stage of my life where I just never made the time to read anything. I had one book that I could've finished off in a week when I was young but took over a year to get through during this time because I was always finding myself doing other things and not making time for it. When I realised what I'd been depriving myself of I made an effort to start reading properly again and I'm back to my normal self. Lately I've re-read Snow Crash and gotten onto the third book of the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. They're very good, by the way. You're thrown in at the deep end but if you push into it they're very rewarding. For example, a lot of things like wars, different empires, gods, and a rather unique (in my experience) magic system are mentioned by the characters but they won't be explained properly for several chapters (or even books) later. Highly recommended by me.

I don't read much at all anymore, but when I was younger I used to read a LOT. I think it's mostly a problem of lack of time, and finding a book I'd really like. I'm not the type of person who can read just a few chapters a day, I have to read the book almost continuously from start to finish.

I would love to read a lot more, I certainly enjoyed it when I was. I just don't.

Also, Baconfish: you remind me of myself four years ago. :colbert:

Has anyone read anything by Umberto Eco?, I'm reading The Name of the Rose at the moment, it's pretty fascinating. There are some authors who confound me with the vastness of the material they must have researched to so fully flesh out a book about so distant a time period/place, and Eco is one of them.

Wasn't that the book that inspired the Thief game?
